Prague is generally considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The historic city centre with a unique panorama of Prague Castle, the largest castle complex in the world, is a UNESCO heritage site. It is the historic core of the city with many monuments that attract millions of tourists from all over the world every year, making Prague one of the most visited cities in Europe.

Prague Castle is an important symbol of the Czech state and the largest continuous castle complex in the world. Since its foundation in the 9th century, it has become the seat of Czech monarchs and presidents. Since 1992, it has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.
The Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and St. Adalbert and the Virgin Mary is the most important Czech Roman Catholic church and the dominant feature of Prague Castle. With a height of 96.6m, the southern tower of the cathedral is the third highest church tower in the Czech Republic.
Charles Bridge is the oldest and most famous bridge in Prague. Founded in 1347 by Charles IV, it is fortified with towers on both sides, and 30 statues of saints line the walls of the bridge.
Old Town Square is the oldest and the most significant square in historical Prague. Since its foundation in the 12th century, it has witnessed many historical events. One of the dominant features of the Square is the Church of Our Lady before Týn.

PRAGUE ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK

The Prague Astronomical Clock - a mechanical astronomical clock (installed 1410) located on the south side of the tower of the Old Town Hall, shows not only the time and date, but also the position of the Sun, the phases of the Moon, astronomical cycles, and holidays of the Christian calendar. At the top of every hour, 12 figures of the apostles appear on the clock.

KAMPA ISLAND
Kampa Island is located between the mainstream of the Vltava and its tributary Čertovka in Malá Strana. It is one of the most romantic and picturesque places in Prague, and the grassy areas in the park are widely used for picnics and relaxation.

Vyšehrad
Vyšehrad - a popular place for walks, the residence of the first Czech king was built in the 10th century and offers a unique view of the city. Part of the fortress is also the neo-Gothic Basilica of St. Peter and Paul and the Vyšehrad Cemetery, which is the final resting place of many Czech personalities and artists.

JEWISH TOWN
Prague's Jewish town, known as the Josefov district, is located between the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. In the Middle Ages it used to be a poor ghetto and nowadays it is one of the most visited places in Prague. You can visit the Old Jewish Cemetery, the Old-New Synagogue, and many other places.
Wenceslas Square is the commercial and administrative centre of the city and a place of important social and historical events. The boulevard is 750m long and 60m wide.

DANCING HOUSE
The Dancing House has been one of the pillars of Prague's modern architecture since 1996. The building is inspired by the famous film dancing couple Fred and Ginger. Here you can visit a gallery, a restaurant and a bar with a viewing terrace, from where you can admire Prague from 360 degrees.

KAFKA'S HEAD
Kafka's head - this outdoor sculpture composed of 42 moving floors is 11 meters high and creates the face of the famous Czech writer Franz Kafka. The 39-ton bust created by the artist David Černý has been standing at the Quadrio shopping centre, directly above Národní metro station, since November 2014.

PETŘÍN TOWER
The lookout tower on Petřín hill is one of the most famous landmarks in Prague. It was built as part of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891 as a loose copy of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (it has a ratio of 1:5), it is 63.5m and 299 steps lead to its top.
Prague Zoo, thanks to its unique location, is one of the most beautiful Zoos in the world. Its rugged terrain offers up a ten-kilometer walk through the exotic areas, including the African House, the Indonesian Jungle, or Elephant Valley.
The Lennon Wall is an exceptional wall covered in paintings and inscriptions that remember John Lennon, of the legendary Beatles. It is symbolically associated with peaceful resistance to violence and injustice anywhere in the world.
The Žižkov Television Tower (216m) is the main landmark of Žižkov and the tallest building in the metropolis. The tower includes a 360° observation deck (at a height of 93m), a bar and a restaurant. Ten giant sculptures of babies by the Czech artist David Černý are placed on the structure of the tower.
Troja Castle is one of the most beautiful Baroque monuments and is located near Prague Zoo. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful French garden. Concerts are also held in the castle grounds.
